He was born May 24, 1951, the son of Nicholas A. and Cathryn E. Parise of Warren.
Dr. Parise was a payload specialist astronaut with NASA.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Cecelia M. Sokol Parise; a son, Henry J. Parise; a daughter, Katherine E. Parise; and a sister, Rita A. Parise.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Resurrection Church in Burtonsville, Md.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Collins Funeral Home, Silver Spring, Md.
