• 16 – The Teddy Bear Classic will take place at Salem Golf Club. The event supports the 32nd Degree Masonic Children’s Learning Center, for children with dyslexia. Registration is from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. A shotgun start is set for noon. Dinner will follow the golf. The cost is $125 per golfer or $500 per group. A ticket for the luncheon for non-golfers is $10. Non-golfers can also purchase dinner for $25. • 17 – The ‘‘Flash’’ four-person scramble, in honor and memory of Mark Fleischer, will take place at Tamer Win Golf & Country Club. A shotgun start is planned at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $65 per player or $260 per team, and includes golf, car, lunch, dinner by Buena Vista, beverages and prizes. Dinner only is $20. The event benefits the Mark Fleischer Scholarship Fund and the Howland High School girls golf and girls soccer teams. Participants must register by May 3. • 21 – The 22nd annual Hattie Larlham Sugar Bush Golf Classic to benefit children and adults with disabilities will be a shotgun-style tournament with morning and afternoon tee times for four person teams. Single player registration is $125 and team registration is $500. The morning session will have registration and a continental breakfast at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. and an awards dinner at 1 p.m. The afternoon session will have registration and lunch at 12:30 p.m. with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. and an wards dinner at 6:30 p.m. The event includes contests, raffles and grand prize drawings. • 28 — The Swift Scramble, a four-person scramble golf outing to re-elect Judge Thomas A. Swift, will be held at Tamer Win Golf & Country Club. Check-in is at 10:30 a.m. with an 11:30 a.m. shotgun start. The golf and dinner package is $30 per person and for dinner only is $50. Lunch will be served on the course. • 6 – The 11th annual Children’s Rehabilitation Center/Warren Kiwanis Charity Golf Outing will take place at Tamer Win Golf & Country Club in Cortland. The day will begin with a 10 a.m. shotgun start. Early sign-in will be available at 9 a.m. The cost of the four-person scramble is $70 per player and includes golf, cart, lunch & beverages on the course and a steak dinner in the pavilion. There also will be a special hole-in-one prize (2008 vehicle donated by Cole Valley Motors) and an opportunity to win a variety of prizes. The outing is limited to 32 teams. • 9 – The Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic Golf Classic will take place at Youngstown Country Club. Reservations are $175 per person. Proceeds will benefit various adult and youth programs. • 14 — Jackson-Milton Sports Club’s 18th annual outing will take place at Lakeside Golf Course in Lake Milton. The four-person scramble costs $260 per team. • 25 Trumbull Mobile Meals will hold its third golf outing at Tamer Win Golf & Country Club. All golfers will receive morning snacks, lunch and a steak dinner from the Saratoga Restaurant. There will be door prizes, skill prizes & team prizes as well as team skins, mulligans, a 50/50 raffle and a hole-in-one-contest. The donation to play the 18-hole scramble is $70 per player or $280 per team. We may be able to match up players who do not have a full team. It will be a great day of fellowship, good food, plenty of fun and most importantly to help ensure no one goes hungry in our community. If you cannot golf, the TMM Golf Committee would appreciate your support in any way possible. Hole and cart sponsorships are still available and donations for prizes are being sought. The proceeds from this outing will go to Hospice of the Valley, Hope Lodge in Cleveland and to help ease the financial burden associated with cancer for area families. • 7 — Penn-Ohio Polka Pals will hold its 12th annual golf scramble at Hickory V.F.W. Golf Course in Hermitage, Pa. The scramble is a four-person team with a field limit of 40 teams. The entry fee is $60 per person, $240 per team, which includes greens fees, cart, coffee, donuts, hot dogs at the turn, beverages, dinner and giveaways. An optional skins game will be available. Check in is at 8 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shot gun start. Deadline for entry is June 30.

• 19 — Cats are People Too Charity Golf Scramble will be held at Tamer Win Golf Course. Breakfast and registration is from 7 to 7:45 a.m. with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Fee is $65 per person, including 18-holes of golf with cart, breakfast, lunch, soft and hard beverages on the course and prizes. • 21 — The Warren Elks Lodge No. 295 Junior Golf Classic will take place at Old Avalon Golf Course. The event is open to boys and girls ages 10 to 17.
