North Jackson Waterline break closes schools

NORTH JACKSON — Repairs to a water main break near Meander Bridge and east of Lipkey Road on Mahoning Avenue here are under way this morning by the the Mahoning County Sanitary District.
The break was identified at about 7 a.m. today.
As a result of the water main break, all of the schools in the Jackson-Milton School Districts were closed Friday.
Water has been turned off for homes and businesses in the area while the repairs are being done. Some water service is expected to be restored to some homes and businesses by noon today. Full service is expected to be restored by noon Saturday.
