She was born July 21, 1920, in Sacoma, Va., the daughter of Edward B. Smith and Elizabeth F. Flanary Smith.
Formerly of Blue Creek, Mrs. Williams was a resident of Johnston since 1977.
She was employed as a cook, and her hobbies included antiquing.
She is survived by a son, Haskel (Gerry) Westmoreland of Johnston; a brother, James Smith of Portsmouth; a sister, Charlotte Muller of Louisville, Ky.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Haskel Westmoreland, in 1978; her second husband, Arnold Williams, in 2004; two sons, James Ray and Raymond Jack Westmoreland; a daughter, Doris Ann Cochran; three brothers, Junior, Stuart and Oscar Smith; and a sister, Hazel Vickers.
A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman. A private burial will take place in Johnston Cemetery. Calling hours will be from noon until the time of services Monday.
