Jennifer Lynn Smith 1976-2008

MECCA — Jennifer Lynn Smith, 31, of Mecca died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born May 19, 1976, in Warren, the daughter of Ernest R. and Lois M. Duncan Smith.

Jennifer was a 1994 graduate of Maplewood High School. She was an avid Cleveland sports fan. She enjoyed watching football, basketball and baseball.

Jennifer loved shopping, drawing and listening to music. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her parents, Ernest and Lois Smith of Mecca; two sisters, Joanne M. (Brian) Day of Gustavus and Julie A. (Brian) Lawrence of Warren; and three brothers, David L. Smith of Bristolville, Daniel B. Smith of Bristolville and Dennis R. (Leann) Smith of Mecca.

Arrangements are being handled by Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel, 164 N. High St., Cortland, where the family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in West Mecca Cemetery.
