I'm sure there is a connection between Walkers and Rollison. Its that fated shooting of Dukes on the Sunday morning. Oh and let's all blow some smoke for the mayor too.. he didn't do squat on that drug bust. The ATF headed that and did a fantastic job. The mayor probably found out when the 100 and something indictments came out. Don't believe it any other way. That's was a govt sting, not something put on by the Mayor

OLDMANDOWNTOWN2, they can't try him in texas for crimes that was commited in Ohio, he has to be tried in the state of the offense, but what Ohio needs to do is get better laws like Texas, I would go for an express line to the death sentence.

umm The hammer can be dropped, first warren is a little ink spot on a map, not to be compared to Cleveland,Youngstown or Chicago.cleveland did call in the national guard in the late 60's i believe next thing you know the NAACP was up their butts claiming racism, when in reality it was "thugism" the law abiding ppl of cleveland had no problem with the guard being there. 2nd. all the big city police carry shotguns, assault rifles etc, right in their cars, if you remember the shooting of dukes ( could be wrong on the name)on a sunday morning,, wpd has to get ahold of shift commander who runs back to the station to bring them back to the scene, that was on the news,, what? they think thugs don't watch the news??*****start pulling ppl over, I wouldn't mind pull me over search my car i have nothing to hide, but maybe the car behind me does,, it's at epic levels now, something has to be done, it's so bad harding canceled homecoming because of this stuff!! enough is enough!

No more, It's called deductive thinking/reasoning.

You are either one of them, or someone who has inside info.

Either way, you don't get it.

Go research New York, and see how they curtailed their crime rate. Stop and from every single one of them. Blink wrong, and is get spanked.

Only way to protect innocent grandmas.

Your thug rights be damned.

We should, do the same here...

Your comment has no roots in reality mindful. No solution is coming from me contributing to a thread. Nor have I approached anyone with any "I used to be" philosophy either.

You're making up scenarios for the sake of having something to say. I'd like to know what contributions you've made to aid the issues that plague our society.

Other than to criticize those who do!

So you think going on a site and blogging is a solution?

Part of problem is that you think someone cares, etc.

You cannot reason with thugs...they only know smacking them in the face and throwing away the key.

Strict laws and no peace making wanna bee "used to be a thug myself" preacher boy can make a difference. We need to smack these thug boys and throw away the key for good.

No mindful I simply deal with many of them in my businesses, I listen to their chatter and attempt to reach them with my logic when possible.

In order to actually make a difference you have to be there involved and available for those who want a way out.

Almost any real detective could write exactly what I did. Become part of the solution instead of criticizing those who are trying...

It really is just that simple, nobody looks at a map and believes this little town might work. Warren thugs have to reach out to invite these folks in. Only a moron travels to a strange town with a trunk full of drugs not knowing anyone there.

People who really don't know how the streets work need to quit guessing and making it up to sound informed & knowledgeable. Anyone who has actually been there can spot a phony from a distance and Zenith (yeah I spelled it wrong) you are a phony pretending to be street wise...

You actually are one of "those morons who think they know it all but don't" Zenith! Detroit boys did'nt pick Warren because the police are disadvantaged you bozo, they picked Warren because they have folks here who called them for cheap drugs & hook ups.

Anytime folks in a small town want to sell drugs they look for the cheapest price to maximize their profits. If a thug in Warren has relatives in Detroit Cleveland or New York they call to set up a connection.

They get cheap dope, make huge profits so the connection in Detroit moves their supply store closer so Warren thugs don't have to go so far to buy. Then other thugs meet these supply boys and everyone prospers, until Warren thugs try something dumb and violence begins.

clean up has to start in the courts.. the judges and prosecutors have been way to lenient for way to long.. those with petty charges get hammered and waste space in the jails and those who need hammered are literally getting away with murder... I put most the blame on the judicial system.. not just in warren but all the way up..

You guys rack me up...

Stop and frisk every single one of them, and don't listen to anything or anyone anymore. No one trusts thug like behavior...there is nothing they can say that will help. Look crossed eyed and they should be stopped and questioned.

Listen, these guys LAUGH at cops, especially when they are alone. They try to intimidate them. That's why when things are heightened, cops take someone with them. Ask any cop, and if he's honest, he will tell you he is afraid to drive alone i these areas. They are intimidated.

Once a thug, always a thug, and if you say you aren't, I say you are lying.

What Warren has today is a product from it's inability to control it's problems from over a decade ago. Every other city? Most cities have money and have the ability to fight crime with police officers. When a city is in dire straits then everything is effected including crime control. You can't blame the mayor at the top if there isn't any funds to increase police protection. Gee, why do you think Warren was chosen by the Detroit Thugs? It's NOT because we are a wonderful city. Too bad we have those Morons who think they know it all but actually, don't know anything. SAD SAD SAD

Further, The problem with blanket cliches and similar chatter is its just noise, discounting unique circumstances from each situation.

Many a person that have been in jail or prison are able to reform their behaviors to become productive citizens. Many just use the prison system as revolving door. Thus proving my point that people really can change!

As for some killing spree? IDK about that, I read the 1st walker pulled a weapon on a cop. IMO the cop was justified to shoot him. The urban league and so called "black leaders" turned a justified shooting into a race issue, thus starting hysteria by calling for calm! The 2nd walker guy, shot a guy he once knew for his car. Now the mans family is left to grieve in public and has been unknowingly drawn into the media circus! The 3rd walker guy is harassing innocent folks, because he raised worthless sons.

Seems to me this family should have had the breed line stopped long ago!

NO! People can change they simply have to first want to and secondly do it! For anyone here to say once a thug always a thug is simply NOT true!!

Especially when that same fountain of sillyness previously posted that people make mistake as kids and it should be overlooked ... which is it?

This is the problem with low IQ/info citizens they are too happy to voice a cliche rather than facts! Bleeding hearts controlled by the media, innuendo, and shock sensation rather than truth, they string superlatives and what ifs and rather than qualitative sentences!

Its more than obvious the Mayor is NOT at fault but can begin a remedy and NMC is correct the council the Mayor has to work greatly effects the progress! If people actually learned how the local govt is supposed to function they could effect the progress they desire!

No hammer will be dropped on thugs because Warren is no worse than any other City. You're an idiot if you believe the Mayor can make a call or "send for troops" to deal with your fears.

Get in line, Cleveland has 2 murders a day, Youngstown 2 a week & Chicago twice as many as both. Outsiders believe Warren is lucky, should feel safe and shut up!

WP you'll have to find another way to vent your dislike of the Mayor. He's doing a good job considering the Council he's forced to work with. Plus he can't predict where criminals will strike next, can you?

Marine have you been in warren lately. I have seen state highway patrols in residential neighborhoods. The mayor has busted parlors and did a big bust in March. People ask for the mayor to use outside forces he has look how fast his killer was caught. I know some murders and other crimes go unsolved.

I agree that now is the time to drop the hammer on the entire "thug element" residing in Warren. However, that takes coordination between more than a few different elements.

Remember, maybe 6 years ago... the thug that robbed a bank in Lordstown, and was shooting up the SW side with an AK? The US Marshall's came through the hood like a hot knife through butter; stopping cars everywhere; arresting all kinds of human trash. That's what needs to happen again, but it takes time to get all the warrants, planning and coordination done.

No Warrenproud because a thug will always be a thug no matter what any mayor or police force ever does. Remember he did a huge bust in March and you were the first to critize the police about over time. You can't have your cake and eat it to. You want the mayor to step up the police force but complain about overtime pay. Blame the mayor for a thug who was h.e.l.l bent on revenge.
