Where is F&E screaming for community leaders? As often as I hear about abuse, molestation & other perversions causing these fools to kill their parents, their babies and random innocent people I'd say this qualifies as an epidemic that needs leadership and the entire community in an outrage. Isn't that correct F&E/USBlues?

I knew Louis and I remember the day he sat in my house telling me about his dad's failing health. He actually started to cry saying he wished he could do more to help his parents and telling me how difficult life had become for them.

In fact he never had a bad thing to say about either his mom or day,it was always just the opposite when he talked about them so his sudden molestation story is just that a story.

The truth is Louis always fancied him self some kid of a bad a.s.s. and a gangster when in fact he was nothing but a wanna be,a blow hard and a coward pumped up on pills and his made up fanatsies

The bear402 : the same reason an abused wife will choose to stay with her abuser until he kills her.

I was abused as a child...physically, emotionally and sexually but, by the grace of God I didn't turn to drugs or murder. However, I did choose a spouse with many attributes of my abusers. Isn't that interesting?? Why would I do that??? and I'm still in relation with the perpetrators. No one grows up in a perfect family, environment, society. My family is a well known one within Warren, Howland and surrounding community. People would be shocked!!!

Everything is a choice though! I could have chosen the victim path and turned to all kinds of things and chosen bitter over better. But, I chose better and have a peace that surpasses all understanding. Our land and people NEED God!!!! This IS the one and only real answer.

The Psychologist should diagnose him as what he is. A sociopathic murderer. Probably with overlap diagnosis such as chemical inbalances and depression that lead him to self medicate through drugs. There is more evidence leading to overlap diagnosis involving mental health and drug abuse. Oh, and guess who will pay for this trumped up psychologist????

His statements and accusations of abuse to the psychologist should be thrown out. The accused is dead and cant defend himself. He is participating in a twisted version of here say.

God Bless your parents for going to his trial. He is a POS and it'll probably be close to 30 yrs to see justice like some other people I'd rather not name because it just brings back horrific memories.

My husband knew all the parties involved. We drove 10 hours to be at the trial but missed the guilty verdict by 5 minutes. The victims were good people, not the monsters they were made out to be. Louis had drug issues for years and his parents tried to help him. Experts know that one cannot have a true diagnosis of depression while using illegal substances. He didn't just pull the trigger, he choked his own mother out, stole all their money and other property, went on a spending spree buying clothes, a cell phone, drugs, and a prostitute. He cared more about smoking crack than getting his life in order. Louis always thought he was bigger and badder than he really was. I guess he accomplished that by beating his disabled father. As most felons, Louis didn't want to hear from his parents about how he needed to straighten up and make better decisions, especially regarding his 7 year old daughter. We hope the jurors see the truth.

There are alot of allegations that should not be allowed because the deceased are not able to defend themselves. Alot of questions need answered. Why didn't he do the treatments hehad started? He quit them. Could have told someone; didn't. Could have distanced himself from parents; didn't. Started doin drugs to forget? It just doesn't connect. Alot is missing here.

I don't see why anyone would want to "live" the rest of their days in prison, esspecially after multiple attempts at taking his own life.

All of this sexual abuse testimony is based off what Mann has said POST murders, it doesn't appear there's anything about the abuse prior to the murders, out of dozens of attempts at treatment and hospitalizations it was never brought up.

If this is true ... If it wrecked his life and if it's truly a viable defense(which it might well be), what about the protection of society in general?

If all this is true, it's a sad tale and more proof of the lingering damage that occurs because of all sorts of abuse that has and does occur.

Problem is ... if all true ... is he "too damaged", to take part in society?

So sad....

If he was abused as a child, if they made his life a living*****as a child, why would he chose to still associate with them as an adult? Sorry, but 30 years after the fact, it becomes an irrelevant defense.

How much money did the prosecuter get for trying the case? I bet a lot more than $300. That was a cheap shot by him. If you can't argue what the Dr. was saying shut up don't take the cheap shot

'We're not here to excuse or justify why Louis killed his parents. We want to explain why...' No, Mister Bleeding Heart lawyer, that is exactly what you are hoping to achieve...excuses and justification. There are lots of victims of poor parenting, sexual abuse, psychological abuse, physical abuse.... very few of them become killers. Probably the biggest group of victims are those abused by LAWYERS. It happens every day in courtrooms all over the country. Better be careful who you give justifications to.....
