@Philly21 - Have you been over to where the old Wal-Mart was on Elm Road? They just abandoned their old building to make another 1/2 mile away. That creates blight. They did the same with the old Sam's, although Burlington's made good use of the former space.

They don't care about how they clutter up OUR neighborhoods with their abandoned stuff, and with so much tax money coming in, the government won't do anything about it. Now to create more garbage in the landfill doing a remodel that isn't really needed.

Walmart has the worst reputation for this. I'm sure everyone that works at Walmart would love to run out and get a better job. Where would you suggest they go? And if you have any knowledge of starting a. "New business " with all the government regulations just how easy do you seriously think that would be?

Really? The evil empire?? LOL! Why doesn't anyone mention Kmart, Sparkle, Mcdonalds, burger king, taco bell, sheetz and so on? Who is FORCING these people to work at these places? Geez, this is still America, go get a different job or start your own business!
