As usual, it is not difficult to see, by their posts, those who are bellied up to the trough and those of us who are forced to fill it! I for one will not be filling it much longer.

A Reuters review of government documents shows that the contract to build the federal Healthcare.gov online insurance website - key to President Barack Obama's signature healthcare reform - tripled in potential total value to nearly $292 million as new money was assigned to the work beginning in April this year.

Im shocked, shocked I tell you! but this wont add a dime to the deficit bwaha, bwahahahahahahah! Bush's fault right hahah,

I see the class warfare. Those who most can afford college tuition are finding every loophole to avoid paying it. They throw their weight (money) around at the highschool levels to get their children favoritism. Some have little talent but because of WHO their parent is they are the ones given the benefit of the doubts, chances, belief into them. They start believe they are something, boom self-fulfilling prophecy. I have watched many who moved up and had many opportunities because of who they are and who they know rather then their abilities....

Look, There is an inherent problem when Pelosi says, "let's pass Obamacare so we can see what's in it." Now, they are delaying the full knowledge of impact until after the 2014 elections. C'mon people. If it was a snake you would have already been biten. Forget about party loyalists, this is about our freedoms and rights. Socialism does not fit who we are as a people. Not only health insurance but automobile & home insurance needs overhauled. Healthcare is just a little behind the other two that are already on the socialist template. I've said this before. The initial reports of uninsured were falsely inflated. This is a directive to increase premiums on all the privately insured population to or above the 9.5% so that then they will be forced into the govt. health insurance. The local numbers for sign ups were considered low like many other areas across the country. Ask yourself why that is??? The uninsured were not the targets. They have medicaid, medicare, ho

"Universal healthcare exists in every nation on earth except the USA. "

And it's a failure.

"Every international study of healthcare shreds the US system for being exclusive."

LOL.

Every study by WHO.

Yea.... brought to you by the U.N. and using faux stats.

Definitely not looking at anything pertinent like INFANT MORTALITY RATES.

"Our capitalistic system costs more (double per capita) but is less effective in outcomes."

AGAIN.

AGAIN.

Thanks to obesity rates.

Ohhh... and LET'S NOT FORGET the U.S. income compared with those faux numbers.

Get a clue.

How are we supposed to advance our ideas when you people are talking totally crazy stuff that has nothing to do with anything?

Obama is homo? WHat does that have to do with healthcare?

Socialism is a failure? Universal healthcare exists in every nation on earth except the USA. Are you stupid enough to suggest that the USA is the only non-socialist nation on earth?

Every international study of healthcare shreds the US system for being exclusive. Our system needs to be more well-rounded and accessible for all.

Our capitalistic system costs more (double per capita) but is less effective in outcomes. This is a problem. Socialism may fail in many areas, but so does pure capitalism.

Are you such an extremist that you would argue capitalism is 100% in every way better than all other systems imaginable? If so, you need your head examined.

@Liemaker: If the state hands me a MEDICAID card. becouse my income is a certain level. and it has cost me nothing. To me that is FREE no matter if you have to pay for my card. Or some corporation pays for it. It's FREE as far as I'am concerned. and please let me hear your moan. A low prolonged sound indicative of pain or grief.

twerker,

1 It's spelled MEDICAID, not MEDICADE.

2 The people griping about not getting something for free, are already voting Democrat.

3 Do you really believe the IRS has the competence to chase down millions of young, mobile people and collect that stinkin' $95?

you can make up to $15,282 and get free HC but the Ohio state house and senate turned that MEDICADE EXPANSION down. so a lot of people will discover that because of politics they have to pay for something they could have gotten for FREE. Oh well those politicans may lose some votes over that. Now all those Pol.s running for someone elses seat will have some great TV ads.

@Insider: I agree with you, pay the fine of $95, i've said that before. Now you know why the Fed's hired 750 new tax people. they will compare HC insurance W-2's with tax returns by computer and add a note to correcting your return with a money deduction from your refund or tell you; you made a mistake and please send a check for $x.xx amount. now of course if you only make $11,490 you get your HC for free.(dgmas) you probably won't use it anyway. your young and will live forever. But you know the penalty goes up each year.

and if you live in a state like arizona
