Hey Frosty, I assume you are one of the people running the city because only somebody running the city would defend these clowns fumbling through managing a city. Between the severance packages, pisz matches with the former Layshock regime, underhanded "administrative" action on income taxes and their 8%, cough cough, Electric rate hike it is evident there isn't anyone capable of running anything let alone a city. I have neither the time nor the inclanation to involve myself in that circus called city council, youn ran, DO YOUR JOB and quit wasting money and then looking to taxpayers to gloss over the mistakes!

Heh everyone that doesn't have anything nice to say about the people running the city, any of you on the Nov. ballot? If not, why not, if you think you can do it better?

They want to audit every three years which doesn't sound to good either. they need to come up with a better solution to monitor the electric as a whole.

Here is the real question, It is approximately $12,000 a year to audit the transformers. They claim that they have been underbilling by $50,000 to $60,000 a year for one customer. That is a difference on the low end of $38,000. What they were "underbilling" would have more than paid for the auditor. This is the second time it has happened. How many other businesses have the same thing happening and what do they owe? Makes you wonder, doesn't it.

Marty Kelly is also the asst supt of electric in Niles. They should start to look at their transformers and meters to see if they have the same problems. That town is not much different than NF with their waffling council people lead by chief waffle Papalas.

"Initial estimates of what the village has been failing to charge hovers around $500,000, according to documents obtained by the Tribune Chronicle."

This means other customers are being overcharged to make up the difference. Heads should roll for this ineptitude, starting with Reimbold's!

I have never seen a more inept bunch of people running a city. Maybe if they had this money they wouldnt have screwed the people on the income tax and raised electric bills. Bunch of wanna be bureaucrats.

"It also remains to be seen whether the school's underbilled amount will be forgiven."

What? this is what you billed and that was what they paid. End of story.
