Maybe his medical problems are more extensive than we're aware of.

The funny thing is, about a month ago, Sports Illustrated ran a blurb where a writer said how the Browns were slowly but surely building a very strong team, but it was under the radar, no one really knew about it. It seems to me they are getting rid of a very valuable piece of that team.

Msmith-why is everyone so upset at the browns getting rid if him? According to you the browns are bad at drafting so obviously he is a bad player. Yeah, thomas and haden were terrible picks too? Get back in the kitchen where you belong!!

Builderbob is this a trick question? Of course Trent will go to Indy and blossom and win a Superbowl.

It depends on what they do with the picks if they draft people who are a bust then yes they will continue to be a bad

I understand everyone being upset with this move but I applaud it. I think they went ALL IN with this move.Look Richardson sat for 2 years behind Ingram in Alabama. Now Ingram may be a bust in New Orleans. TRich can't stay healthy, he's not fast and has no wiggle to him. He's a straight down hill runner in a spread offense that looks for speed. Since 2003 there have been many first round backs selected but only a couple that really panned out. Ingram, David Wilson, Javid Best And Doug Martin were 1st rounders since 2010, you can see my point. Arian Foster, MJD, Ray Rice all were 2nd round or lower. I guess what I'm saying is Management could see the writing on the wall. I believe Weedan is next. IMHO...

If you look at the history since the Brown's have came back you will see how bad they are at drafting. I watched the first two games and I screamed what are they doing. The front office has given up they have taken up the we will do better next year theory once again. I heard the press conference yesterday and I don't trust the leadership who can't draft. I am a tired browns fan who is sick of the word rebuilding.

This is waiving the white flag after two games. The new regime has no confidence in current offense and they are stockpiling picks for next year. Weeden's days are numbered too. I bleed brown and orange, but we've been rebuiding since '99, and my patience is wearing thin. They just cleared my Sunday schedule for hunting all season.

Surprised the crap out of me. Maybe Richardson will do better in an offense with a good passing game. I predict a 1,000 yard, Pro-Bowl season for Trent.

Trading the #3 overall pick for what is likely to be one of the last few picks in the first round. Why???
