@more, wp is right, it is the city's job to fix the sewers. part of your bill is for sewer maintenance or replacement. it is the homeowners responsibility to repair or replace the sewer line on their property only. also you never put a gate valve in your sewer line, you put a back water swing check valve in which is what I would advise every home owner to do.

amen warrenproud what the*****are the the monthly payment going for beside astronomical wages. you are suppose to put some aside for this reason, and you educated idiots started a run off water fund (storm water) where is it at !! heres a hint CLEAN THE DRAIN LINES they use to flush them every spring DONT ASK FOR ANY MORE MONEY !

Let's be realistic WarrenProud. There is not a community around that can afford to replace drain systems for the rains we got this year. It's not just Warren it is everywhere. As far as sewer backup goes. It is the home owners responsibility to have gate valves installed so it can not back up into their homes.

No excuses Angelo - fix the sewer problems. That's what you are paid to do - not make excuses why you can't do your job. Do you have too many family members on the payroll who know nothing about fixing sewers who are just collecting a paycheck?
