DEAR EDITOR: Remember the days when you saw all models and years of Packard automobiles around town during the annual Packard Car Show? They don’t do that anymore....

Civic pools used to be popular but have been done away with because of the costs involved.

Used to be lots of KIDS with FAMILIES swimming in the pool that was filled in to build the oldfarrts' car museum for the Land of the OLD ONES.

However, everything around here now caters to the over-50 crowd, most of whom soon will be passed on to the nether regions, leaving NOBODY to tend the yards here, because NOBODY wants to live here.

(Run, kids! Run! As fast as you can! Get out while there's still time!)

Mordecai - I don't think Mr. Schoch embarrassed himself at all.

Maybe YOU should take the time and effort to write a letter, have your name printed, etc. and then take the abuse you and others want to mete out.

Well, Ron, there USED to be a lot of things that happened in Warren. This is a ridiculous letter. I'm sure there was a time when there were Model-T shows all over the country, but eventually there are just fewer of the vehicles in existence....just like Packards...BECAUSE THEY ARE OLD! A previous posted noted that these vehicle don't belong outside, and he is right...BECAUSE THEY ARE REALLY OLD. Next time, think before you make the effort to wright a letter to your local paper and embarrass yourself Ron...just sayin'.

Maybe Mr. Scoch should get involved and make these things happen. But everyone wants everyone else to do the work.

The museum is great. Those old automobiles do not need to be outdoors.
