‘Obamacare’ has jumped the tracks

July 18, 2013

‘‘Obamacare,’’ the White House version of socialized medicine for Americans, always was a train wreck about to happen. Already the law has jumped the tracks....

I'll pass on the Obama Kool-Aid, but Obama believers can keep gulping it down.

If our Country would Tax the very wealthy more "their fare share" and cut out the billions that go to Israel and Egypt every year, why no one seems to know because they both seem to abuse it, both have been caught spying on us. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

"So-called "free-market Capitalism" (and the rapacious cowards who practiced it) created the conditions that made Social Security and Medicare necessary. "

NO. IT DIDN'T.

How would teach a socialist?

You can't.

You'd have to learn it for them.

The rest of her post is repetitive drivel.

So-called "free-market Capitalism" (and the rapacious cowards who practiced it) created the conditions that made Social Security and Medicare necessary.

So-called "free-market Capitalism" couldn't guarantee that ordinary folks who worked hard all their lives would not be reduced to the poor house in old age, either by the unreliability of the "free-market" or the for-profit health insurance system.

The vulnerability of ordinary folks (who worked hard all their lives) within the context of an unreliable "free-market" is exactly why we have a mixed economy today, nether totally capitalistic, not totally socialistic, because a proper BALANCE (where have we heard that word before?) between the two seems to work best.

And now we need more weight to the socialistic side -- in the form of MEWDICARE FOR ALL!

If it's good enough for Granny, it's good enough for the rest of us.

Is this the place for people who believe in our Constitution, free market capitalism, less intrusive government interference in our lives, and living within our collective means begin to say "we told you so"?

No.

You're the skirt showing how little you know.

Socialism is a failure.

See you.

Only the Americans who benefit from "socialized medicine," i.e. those 65 and older, want socialized medicine, of course.

And it's not even "socialized medicine." It's socialized medical insurance.

Shows how much you know. Or, rather, don't know.

Americans don't want socialized medicine.

Unfortunately, some don't live in reality.

Socialism is a failure.

See below.

Interesting idea Defeat,

One thing for sure Insurance Companies and Big Oil are strangling the middle/working class.

A healthy workforce is the first step to a productive economy, the second step of course is the jobs.

No, Obamacare should NOT be killed right now, unless the greatest triumph of American socialism, Medicare, is expanded to include everyone.

That's right! Medicare, with is 90+% approval rating among the seniors it serves, is obviously good enough for Gramps and Granny, and, therefore, it should be good enough for the rest of us.

Obamacare, with its attempt to appease the for-profit, private insurers, has met with resistance and derision from the very people it sought to coddle.

I say, to heck with them.

I say scrap Obamacare, and expand Medicare immediately to cover everyone over 55; next year we can add everyone over 45; the year after that, everyone over 35; the year after that, everyone, period. There it is. Done in 3 years what Obamacare could not do.

Or, better yet, blanket the entire population of the country with Medicare immediately. Today.

And quit wasting time.
