Yes, Warren get an umbrella, a rain poncho or just*****it up please. I support the 4-H equine programs, I go to the banquets, the shows etc... Until the last year or 2 when I got sick I have never ever missed a 4-H practice, meeting or show in 12 yrs so Warren come on. Geez I was in 4-H as a kid an so were my nieces an nephews ( because we can't have children). Now we have bought a new house and are done with the farm, gonna rent it our to one our nephews. But I get the feeling I'll still be involved. 4-H teaches kids so many things like responsibility and (respect) for starters things kids today don't seem to have instilled in them as a few of the posters on some of these other editorials have demonstrated.

Warrenproud, why dont you just shut the heck up? You have made many comments that you will not attend the fair because it is beneath your high and mighty standards. Your comment about you and your family staying away is ridiculous. Take your uppity attitude and go to Disneyland like you said you do, we all know how the republicans give you tax breaks because you are rich enough to afford such a trip.

Always had fun checking out the 4-H events. That's the better part of the fair IMO, not the rickety rides and price gouging concession stands.

Rain and Muddy - typical for the Fair weather. Of course I and my family stayed away.

More people should really consider 4H for their children, it teaches them very important lessons, aside from animal husbandry.

Was a nice night, rained a little and was muddy. To bad the Rodeo wasn't later in the week would of been busier. Think it's a different Rodeo this year, because of the fiasco of last year.
