What I meant is the Dems and Obama must have a little more conservative thoughts, meet the repubs halfway. If the repubs go to the table and meet halfway as you stated, then Obama and the Dems should too. Correct? I have been on this soapbox for a few days now. Not one person will admit any fault on the dems and Obama. I have admitted, the repubs are not doing what they need to do, will anyone admit, the dems are not either? It has become WAY too much of a political game.

Artic, A conservative thought process would mean the GOP reverting back to the Reagan era. The problem as I see it is that most are far, far right. Bob Dole even said the he and Reagan could not make it in the GOP today. Do I like the far left? No. I do not believe in abortion, Gay marriage makes me sick, I am all for guns although I am not apposed to extended BG checks. Until another party comes forth (besides the libertarian and tea-party)I look at the dems as the lesser of two evils, however, if Chris Christie runs I will take a closer look at him. But what is going to happen if/when a Republican does get in office, is I'm afraid the Dems will then take it as payback time. And then what. Decades of nothing getting done.

Daniel, at least we can respect each other. That is half the battle. Now you said the repubs should meet halfway, would that not mean Dems and Obama must also? Meet halfway? I will admit, repubs are tossing roadblocks, NOW, Obama and the dems must find ways to get those down, and that may mean a little more conservative thought process.

ArticWoof, Do I think Democrats are perfect? Heck no. The damaged caused by Bush did not vanish the minute Obama came into office and he could not wave a magic wand. Why am I so bitter with Republicans? I was out of work only three times in my 35 years, all of those times came under Reagan, Bush 41 and Bush 43. The best years came under Clinton. No I see the Republicans stonewalling and sabotaging everything Obama wants to do and can only wonder how much better things would be if they would at least meet half way on things, stop politicizing made up scandals, stop attacking Social security, Medicare, Woman and the middle class. I hope this answered your question, I may not agree with you but Respect your beliefs for your not rude to others.

Daniel, for the sake of civil conversation. Lets say for a minute I agree with you. Now, reverse it for a minute. How come the libs and current administration CONTINUES to blame all the problems on Bush, the republicans and when pressed for answer simply reply,, " I do not know, that was not MY problem " Daniel, I will admit the right and repubs are not doing what they need to do, can you sir, admit, neither are the democrats?

China has benefited more than the USA, GM to spend 11 billion dollars in China. This is mostly bailout money plus GM not having to pay taxes on 45 Billion in profit.
