"To scale, what I made in DC would buy me a McMansion in Howland. "

Does that include the income from MOMMY and DADDY'S child slave labor?

Hey cz I hear Mississippi and Alabama have a lot of job openings. Good pay too, most of the people there can expect to make $9.00 an hour in just a few more years.

And where are you going to go where it is better CZ? One of those right to work states where everybody makes $8/hr?

numbers may be down but most people coming off of unemployment are only making 1/3 to 1/2 of what they made before lossing their jobs . in other word they took a job for 10.00 an hour which doesn't pay much of anything add in the cost of health care insurance if the company has and they really only making 7.50 an hour. Looks to me like its time to leave this area. Should not have to work 60 hours a week just to make ends meet. Crazy! The overtime should be something a family can enjoy. Not has to have just to survive.
