LoL! Directly from snopes... August 18, 2011 Obama: The Affirmative Action President By Matt Patterson

Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack Obama as an inscrutable and disturbing phenomenon, a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages. How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the world's largest economy, direct the world's most powerful military, execute the world's most consequential job? Imagine a future historian examining Obama's pre-presidential life: ushered into and through the Ivy League despite unremarkable grades and test scores along the way; a cushy non-job as a "community organizer"; a brief career as a state legislator devoid of legislative achievement (and in fact nearly devoid of his attention, so often did he vote "present"); and finally an unaccomplished single term in United States Senate,

Ahhh... look.

It only took her 15 hours to type 50 words.

Someone should be doing that for her.

Typing her 'fair share.'

samaree: Another misrepresentation of facts in your post... Romney tax returns were never made public. Fact is they were made public! So sorry you lack the intellect to find, view, interpret, and understand them!

samaree: Your interpretation of what I said is INCORRECT! Re-Read! Misquoting another's post doesn't make your post valid it makes your post based on fiction! Also, you conveniently removed the entire affirmative action part! HMmmm why is that?

"President Obama will go down in history as a President who tried, unsuccessfully, to compromise with the obstructionist Republican party of big business."

No, he won't and you have no more business quoting Lincoln than anyone else does using his name in the same post as your socialist overlord.

"As this nation falls further & further behind in... education"

Yep, because there's the failures that don't apply themselves and want to leech off of everyone else blaming everyone else for their pathetic existence.

Hmm.. who could that be. "to health care"

Not. Still the leader in the quality of care on top of being the lead in research.

Ohh.. by the way, for those that don't understand, she's operating under the lie that socialized medicine is UBER.

It's not. Socialism is a failure... just like her.

"to infrastructure & taxes"

GOOD.

Let's fall behind in taxes. Only an idiot or someone that doesn't pay any could post that.

O..K...isn't that what political cartoons suppose to do?? Make light of political figures and issues?

What is more amusing than cartoon is people taking it Soooo serious to point of being defensive, and lashing back at other presidents! Get a life!

But the funniest thing here is...THE IDEA THAT A PRESIDENT All by himself and only Himself is responsible for ALL GOOD OR ALL BAD that happens during and after his term. Dumb, but funny!

President Obama will go down in history as a President who tried, unsuccessfully, to compromise with the obstructionist Republican party of big business.

As Abraham Lincoln said: "A house divided against itself can not stand".

As this nation falls further & further behind other industrialized democratic republics, in almost every category from education to health care to infrastructure & taxes, Abraham Lincoln's statement is once again relevant.

@Twizzle ... INCORRECT!! Tax dollars paid for obama's ivy league college education!! We the people and affirmative action paid for his first degree at Columbia and then we the people and affirmative action were lucky enough to pay again at Harvard! !! Perhaps you should have read one of obama's books!! Why would you think he sealed his college records? Obama, the poor fella spent about $2 million bucks hiding and sealing his college, and other public records.... HMmmmm! What does that honest fella have to hide?

A message to Robert, he was a rich brat who was given his career on a silver platter. His dad had the money to send him to Yale in which he was a "C" student. So I'm not defending the cartoon depiction of him by a long shot but his resume isn't as impressive as Obama's. A Harvard LAW grad who also TAUGHT there is pretty impressive! And Obama didn't have anyone who paid his way through school.

The Trib deserves an onion award for printing the cartoon - very poor taste! The Trib needs to print the cartoon of Obama's presidential library - an outhouse!

The token disagrees mean nothing! The rest of the world acknowledges the facts & truth about Bush 43!

"When President Bush came to power in 2001, the US spent $1.4bn a year on humanitarian and development aid in Africa. By 2006, the figure had quadrupled to $5.6bn a year. And it is likely to get bigger. The centrepiece of Mr Bush's aid to Africa is the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (Pepfar), a five-year, $15bn Aids prevention and treatment programme launched in 2003. His most recent budget proposes doubling the funding to $30bn over the next five years.

Despite rows over the programme's emphasis on abstinence and faithfulness to one partner rather than ******s to control Aids, it has helped to fund anti-retroviral (ARV) drugs for 1.3 million people across the continent. Before, the US funded ARV treatment for just 50,000 people"

Oddly, I havent heard one word about all the work GWB did to combat Aids in Africa! Amazing Bush 43 is more admired in Africa than any other US President. Amazing the uninformed Bush haters posting here forgot to acknowledge the current president has actually adopted, extended and continued to implement Bush 43 policies!! History will prove that BHO is unqualified and actually less effective than Carter! At least Carter tried to rescue the American hostages whereas BHO simply politicizes and puts out false statements about Benghazi, Fast & Furious, Gun Control, Hurricane Sandy, etc. While simultaneously sacrificing our citizens there for his own personal brand of political gain!!

Saying GWB was the worst president in history is an uneducated opinion based on little more than an emotion. Although they do have him as one of the worst 10 most historians do not consider him as the worst in history.

As far as the cartoon, it was done in poor taste but I have seen worse about Obama.

I'm waiting for the O'Bama jokes and cartoons...
