"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee." Ezekiel 25:17 - Jules Winnfield (Pulp Fiction)

Before I knew Bob Dean to hold any position of authority, I knew him to be a man of Christ as we share the same home church. However, following the statement he made publicly belittling the families who have suffered from these loses has changed my POV on him. Yes, the funerals were paid for. I am sure that all these families were PROFOUNDLY GRATEFUL, but that does not excuse the fact that there are thousands of dollars unaccounted for. If he would just give some sort of explanation rather than making excuses and blatantly overlooking these families concerns about the money, he would look a little more like someone who represents the people.

For the life of me I cannot understand the "logic" of Ms. Jackson and others that find themselves in agreement with her. It is my understanding that EVERY penny of EVERY funeral and EVERY burial expense was covered in full for EVERY family that lost a loved one on that fateful morning. Through these acts of compassion tremendous burdens were lifted for EVERY family and yet, somehow, this is not enough?

Very well written Sheila, the first problem is neither of those morons are "men of God" although you deserve accolades for recognizing the good in all people.

I predict you'll never get an answer or reply. We'd all like answers to the questions you asked. I'd also like to know more about the relationship between those two.

Bob Dean has been called out as a crook by the people of Warren last Tuesday. He has yet to explain where all the $61,000 went except for the money sent to YOUNGSTOWN's Urban League for use in Youngstown. Our only hope is the Ohio AG investigation shows us the truth. It's good that he lost the election.
