Look how well D&L served us. A dozen earthquakes? Oops. Dumping water right into the river? Oops. But remember there's no environmental danger here!

Guar gum and ice cream? Why don't you be more honest and mention 29 chemicals used that are known or possible human carcinogens, regulated under the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) for their risks to human health, or listed as hazardous air pollutants under the Clean Air Act. The BTEX compounds – benzene, toluene, xylene, and ethylbenzene – are SDWA contaminants and hazardous air pollutants. Benzene also is a known human carcinogen. Perhaps you'd like to eat ice cream made of those chemicals. A Trib columnist that is one more corporate shill. Is anyone surprised at that? Sorry you don't think our air and water is more important than providing transient jobs.

Anytime the oil companies are involve the whiners wake up,sniff the air and start whining. This is because the Obama people have set the tone by blaming Bush and Cheny for anything oil. I wish people in this valley would wake up and try to ne constructive and work for a good future instead of more Obama candy in the mailbox. The fracking they complain about could be putting good money in their pockets if they get off the couch and go to work.
