It doesn't appear anything of the sort -- the numbers are so small as to be laughable.

The Republican auditor of state is making some political hay by expending a mighty effort on mighty little.

This is the biggest non-story of the year, except for the anti-public education crowd.

Hooooooooey, pure and simple.

This cheating appears to be running rampant in all urban area's across the state. Why public sector would take it upon themselves to cheat is beyond comprehension. I guess the students do learn something from cheating teachers. It ok to cheat.

They should be jailed.

"That separate probe found nine Ohio districts that intentionally removed poor performing students from their rolls and discovered that more than 70 schools or districts had attendance reporting errors that didn't appear to be purposeful."

Lot of good old fashioned political whoop-dee-doo.

A mighty spectacle about mighty little.

9 cases out of 614 districts? 70 examples that "didn't appear to be purposeful, " out of over 4,200 public schools and over 1.8 MILLION students?

And this is headline news?

Seriously?
