The problem is NOT in Washington. Washington NEVER funded nor built the schools. The problem is in Columbus. The author of this letter is spot on. What Kasich did with the budget was simply a shell game. Cut the deficit by taking money away from local governments. It was that simple.

Daniel, why wasn't your former Ohio governor held accountable for putting Ohio EIGHT billion dollars in the red, oh wait a minuete he was held accountable, people got smart and elected a conservative, I get a kick out of YOU liberals, always want to put your hands in someone elses pocket.

Well said Richard. Like I stated in another editorial, the Governor needs to be held accountable. This is what low information voters get when they vote for someone with a R by their name. The sad thing is they keep doing it and never learn from history and their past mistakes.

Just one question Richard. Is it the operating levy? If so. They have to put it on. No choice. The law. As far as Columbus goes. I agree to a point. It is every state. Not just Ohio. Washington is where the problem is and they are the ones who need to wake up. But we all know the answer to that. Will never happen.
