Cry me a river dems. Just something else for you to oppose like everything else good in this state. The bill is very simple - it applies the same consistent rules to everyone all the time - a fair and level playing field - something you people like to clamor about when you perceive it favors your cause, only this time you are crying the blues because it reins in your ability to manipulate the system, and limiting your manipulation calls into question your very existence because whenever there are rules to the game, you tend to lose.

notpc4sure, you if you vote. The reality of the private sector voter is they far outnumber the gooberment worker. So if you have issues the voting down of SB 5 realize it took far more than gooberment workers to vote it down.

As far as the letter itself, Why do the republicans always want to change things that don't work for them?

George Meany, Franklin Roosevelt and many other Democrats have stated: Government workers should NOT be able to join a Union. A Union is for the private-sector.

Civil Service Protection should be granted to all Government workers, there is no need to pay Union dues. Democrat Jimmy Carter did more to kill Unions even private-sector ones but most important he did not believe government workers should belong to a Union.

There is no need for this Bill.

I have a question on the 'Voucher' thread. Need a conservative to have the balls to answer the question. Are you in?

"We need to erase Ohio's bad name and join the 21st Century...."

Going backwards does not propel you forward. Anybody who is against the workers having laws that protect them, are either tyrannical business operators or among the super wealthy. No worker would be stupid enough to take away his own right of belonging to a union or having labor laws that protect them, both financially and safety wise.

I don't care what party you blindly cling to like they're your favorite football team, anyone who supports the limiting of our rights needs to have their iChat to ore stripped.

My question is, Why does the Republicans continually shoot themselves in the foot and always trying to tick off the American people? Time to put on the grown up pants Ohioans/Americans and get rid of these Baggies at every election till the last one is extinct.

The RepublicaNOs can not win these elections fairly so they keep dreaming up ways to prevent the voters from exercising their constitutional rights. Think back to all the ways our Secretary of State tried to prevent minorities from voting for President Obama with their phony voter ID law, and this way of thinking continues today. SB47 is just another in that continuing saga.

I know one thing for sure, if Schivavoni is against it, I'm for it. 90% of the time whatever Schivavoni says, it's wrong.

And Capri, We both know that if SB 5 was the law, most of these strikes would be history. How can unions go on strike against the People. We need to erase Ohio's bad name and join the 21st Century,
