Hi dstabt. I am so sad for you. All you seem to really care about is complaining about everything and anything anyone says. You are a very angry person. Something bad must have happened to you making you so hateful. Enough about JFK. You made your point. Let it go and try to say something positive about other people who got the award. As I said before I am glad my mother got the award and her example has encouraged others to volunteer which is what the world needs. People helping people not tearing them apart. My family will pray you find happiness somewhere in your life without putting everyone else down. Recognize something positive for a change.

Touchdown: don't start twisting my words, I said people first, everything in its priority. But now that you mentioned it. There are extremes towards animals, some people abuse them and some people treat them better then they would a human. I am a dog owner, love her very much but if I had to choose between saving a family member or my pet and I couldn't save both, Without question i would choose to save the human being.

"Jtoday there are too many injustices within Meals on Wheels. There are passport people that do not pay, but they can increase cost on a 95 yr old who is on a fixed income. I could go on but I won't."

First this sounds like an administrative problem and are you doing anything about it?

Yeah, it's like all those evil horrible people who belong to the ASPCA. They must be just despicable! How dare they have any love or concern for animals? Or people who donate money to medical research, knowing that a portion of it will go to pay the researchers' salaries, as well as other expenses. Terrible! They should donate all their money to the poor and homeless. Wait, make that the local poor and homeless. Did I leave anything out dstabt? Is that okay with you, your highness? Do we have your permission to go on with our miserable lives, now that we promise to live them as you deem fit?

I think if I had ten million to donate, I'd donate it to mental health research. (I know someone who may benefit...)

Therefore, pouring millions into a building and concerned about shelters for animals seems very misguided priorities to me. That is all

Jtoday there are too many injustices within Meals on Wheels. There are passport people that do not pay, but they can increase cost on a 95 yr old who is on a fixed income. I could go on but I won't. I know too much. I'm a very compassionate person who observes all facts and weighs them carefully. The Bear: I have no hatred towards JFK or the Covellis, quit putting words in my mouth.

No, I am not a JFK alumni, but I am certain that JFK is proud that a person who stands up to defend the good name of a person who is being viciously and stupidly attacked (over to who they chose to donate their money yet!) would be "accused" of graduating from there.

If you have a beef with JFK, so be it, many people have problems with many schools, especially if they felt their child had been slighted. But it appears that your attacks on the Covellis are for the sole reason that they are associated with JFK. If that's the case, I stand by what I said, you need to seek help.

dstabt I agree with people first but that can mean many things because guess what, people utilize most things. I know you hate spending on sports but if someone pays to sponsor an inner-city little league team aren't they putting kids first?

Just a note, everyone I have know that has used Meal on Wheels have paid, could afford to pay and had no hesitation with paying. That program is meant to provide well rounded meals to folks who can't prepare meals or cannot easily purchase food to prepare meals. It is not just focused on folks who cannot afford food.

people first is my motto!! Everything else is secondary. Jtoday, childrens services!!!!Are you aware of how many people age out of the system and are on their own at 18??? senior citizens that live alone.....have special needs, some of them are required to pay for Meals on Wheels if they don't meet financial requirements...how about shelter for the homeless. Too many important need locally to list.

Btw while we're talking about fundraising, where DOES ALL THE CANCER RESEARCH MONEY really go to? The fact is there is too much profit in cancer for drs, and pharmaceuticals to find "the cure." according to one dr from Texas he he found a big missing puzzle to it and the govt stepped in and seized all of his research and shut him down.

The bear: not true, I did however state that $10 million for a sports complex puts sports above people.....which is a false god.....and fundraising for an animal shelter puts animals above people...people were created in the image of god not animals and sports.

Don't you mean, "my psychiatrist?" You are one warped troll. You have turned your hatred of JFK into a hatred of anything connected in any way with JFK, including the Covellis. You have made a point of taking their $10,000,000 donation to OSU and trying to turn it into something wrong, and all you can offer in terms of explanation is "facts are facts." Please seek help at once, or at least focus your unnatural amount of hatred onto something worth hating.

Thanks all for helping me with my psychology thesis. You as a group are one example of despite being presented with facts that are true, your perception and objectivity becomes blinded due to power, influence and money and will resort to gang mentality. My professor is going to love this.

Dstabt:

Time to exercise your right to remain silent and stop trying to soil an occasion meant to honor several people who make positive contributions to our community.

Wrong venue for your personal attacks.

Over the years I have known a few honorees and they are great people.

For the record I do not know the Covelli's or anything about JFK but dstabt apparently you do. Another clue.

I grew up in Warren. My mother was given a Star award last night. I'm so glad she can't see what is being said. Let me tell you about her. She is 78. Has been a volunteer of some sort for at least 50 years that I know of. She can hardly walk. She lives on Social Security. Six of her Seven children also volunteer thanks to her example. She volunteers at least 5 days a week even though she is in pain. Last I checked, GOD IS OUR JUDGE not people who THINK they know everything. I'm glad she was recognized and I am thankful for her example and so should all of you who can only seem to find the negative in life.

Which means I know more about JFK then you are comfortable with, why else would you be constantly attacking me personally. Because the truth is on top of you and you can't deal with it. So blow smoke and hope I get distracted from the topic so as to not reveal anymore truth. You are too obvious and easy picking.

Jtoday which details are you saying are not facts? Thebear : you are hateful and probably one of those pathetic parents at JFK that believe they are god, your hatred about the truth is purely blind loyalty. BTW I do not live in a trailer, it is a house that is paid off, and less then 15 years old. So maybe you are transferring your insecurity. And if it's true that your wife attends cancer fundraisers then you are probably a dr who is fit to be tied that there may be a mole within your own alumni.

It's about the FACTS. The FACT is that someone is a jealous little twit. Open your own business, make millions, then donate however much you want to whoever you want. Until then, go back to your trailer and keep hating those of who are successful.

Unless you are Covelli's tax attorney these aren't facts.
