Why bother moving the track from Toledo if there isn't going to be any horse racing interest here? We don't need an outsider like Penn National to build us a non-racing racino to undercut our local entertainment venues! We have local businessmen who could just as easily make a casino work if they are granted a local monopoly like Penn National.

Just install VLT's at the Trumbull county fairgrounds, change the name to Trumbull Downs, have a few races a year, and this area will be financially better off than under the bait and switch scheme Penn National is trying to pull on us.

So the truth is coming out now after the fact, they don't care about the horse racing aspect of the facility, only the slot machines. I really believe this will be a bad thing for the valley.
