Put these offenders to work, sweeping streets, cleaning drainage ditches, picking up trash.

Obviously this guy is unfit for society. Why only 16 years? This is his second time convicted of attempted murder.
Our legal system is so screwed up. To me, attempted murder should be sentenced the same as murder. Especially if if was premeditated.

Yeah these guys got it too easy in prison, tv, books 3 squares and all the healthcare they need. We need to make our prisons way tougher.

To bad he didn't just jump. Now the tax payer has to feed and house him and more than likely his child as well. I wonder why this woman got involved with this man with his past behavior? Once a violent spouse abuser, always a violent spouse abuser. Maybe Bubba will teach him what its like to be handled by another person. What a POS.

Should have been life in prison with the possibility of parole after serving 25 years of hard labor.
