The other article in this paper points out how he was ineligible for the death penalty because he was 17 when he did this. Which is correct? Once again the fine reporting of the Tribune Chronicle shines through.

Wait one minute. He was 17 when he did this and therefore "sadly" could not be put to death. How was this part of the plea deal?
