Tue., 9:21am: Hearing officer sides with septic installer over Trumbull health board

Finally a victory. Not just for the Meadows, who deserve it, but for the citizens. The writing is on the wall. The movement is gaining momentum. One by one they will all be gone. It's time to fire the legal counsel they hired, The Rice Law firm and Atty. Kokor, and get back to letting the county prosecutor represent the boh as they should. It's a shame that Judge Rice and Atty Kokor profited SO MUCH for such a scam. I guess they sent Mickey Mouse to represent the BOH.

Waterman, while the commissioners may have other issues they have no blame in this matter. The Trumbull County Health Department is not run by the county commissioners. The department is run by the county health board. The county health board is made up of individuals elected by the township trustees and the city mayors who make up the district. Warren, Niles and Girard mayors do not vote because they all have their own health departments. And the county commissioners have no vote in who serves on the board.

Now reinstate the man's installer license! The Trib should stay on top of this. The taxpayer's dollars have been wasted in this in witch hunt. An investigation should be launched to find out exactly how much. Dr. Enyeart should be required to repay the Hearing Judge fee since he took it upon himself to hire him without a vote!

So glad to hear the outcome in favor of Barry Meadows but hope it doesn't end there. Changes have to be made to "fix" the TCHD and their corruption and to make septic installation affordable.

@countyresident........We all agree with the issue of raw sewage. However, no one wants to be over charged for a single system monopoly like we have here in Trumbull County. No one wants to see a cheaper alternative denied for no reason other than not have the right pull with the TCHD. AND........No one wants to see a family and their business subjected to a witch hunt for bringing te wrong doings of the TCHD to light. Raw sewage is very bad! I think we should take action on the visible effluent we have pouring out of that building on Chestnut St. in Warren!

countyresident, If Trumbull County followed the EPA guidelines that all other counties follow Septic replacement would be affordable. In Trumbull county $15K -$25K is unaffordable for most people. Residents in counties surrounding us pay 1/2 of what our county pays.

The Board of Health should be ashamed of the kangaroo court they tried to set up to screw this man. And taxpayers should be upset at the amount of money the Board has wasted on this vendetta.
