"I know some of you are all wrapped up in that "I went through a red light, it's the cities fault for putting a camera there and caught me" logic."
For me it's more about the logic that some private company is running the camera with no government oversight is also making a $3 million profit. Of course, they would never lie or manipulate the camera just for the sake of profit? They would never put their integrity on the line just for $3 million dollars? And of course the appeal system they set up doesn't allow you to ask about the specifics of the cameras or challenge how they are run, but that's not a problem. My concern is I don't like private businesses running government functions for profit. It leads to abuse and corruption.

""I went through a red light, it's the cities fault for putting a camera there and caught me" logic."
LOL.
That's hillarious coming from a Kuciniloon that relies on the old "it's not your fault, nothing is your fault, and there is always someone to blame," Robert.
Almost as hillarious as mtw trying to get us to believe she pays taxes.

Seems like the people that scream the loudest "IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY" are the offenders.
I know some of you are all wrapped up in that "I went through a red light, it's the cities fault for putting a camera there and caught me" logic.

People are breaking the law right? Less cops right? Not reaching into my pocket unless I break the law right? Maybe catch other lawbreakers on camera (Sunset) right? Maybe it came too late. Lol...tards!

$3 million. 68,000 citations. That's like $45 a ticket.
I had to pay $115 for not wearing my seatbelt in Warren!

I have no problem with this. I hope it is about the money.
Don't ask me for high taxes... Get the money from the rule breakers.

If it's not about the money then surely Toledo is going to just donate that $3 million to charity. Right?

Now that the record shows increased growth revenue year after year. I suspect they'll be implemented in this area in the near future. Reaping the rewards just like Toledo!
