Those are fine credentials, but how many distance courses have you taken? From my experience both taking and teaching them, online courses are not generally not as effective as in-class courses.
No doubt, much of this has to do with teachers not being trained how to effectively teach using technology. But I think that there is still something to be said for the community and smaller size of in-person classes. Online courses certainly have their uses, but I would never voluntarily take one on a subject I care about if I had the opportunity to take an in-person course.

Come on now Willie, what's wrong with a Good Enough Diploma?

Patrick, anybody with a bachelor degree can get a license to be a substitute teacher. The important part of that is substitute, and it is only good for so long. You sound like Peggy Hill. There is a difference between distance learning and classroom learning. Many employers when given the choice see that BRICK AND MORTAR degree as better. As a person with a small business I will hire a person with a real earned diploma over the internet diploma, GED, etc... every time.

Online courses are becoming increasingly standard. I took a few in the early 2000s and felt like I got more out of them than traditional style courses.

No, you are little lady.
Proof, yet again:
"I don't want my Doctor or lawyer to have received their degrees from internet schools."

Something in the back of my mind tells me that I don't want my Doctor or lawyer to have received their degrees from internet schools. I do believe that in some cases distant or mixed distance/traditional education is a good idea.
