Schools respond to recent threats

reader, the problem is these kids today are being raised by the same mentality for so called parents. We are at our third and fourth generation of this thinking. We are sinking fast and there is no lifeboat.

Kids or people who do this kind of thing have no sense of consequences, no idea about boundaries, and no concept about how they fit into society/community. I don't think they think they will get caught; and if they do, the laws will not apply to them.

Then we are left wondering why some students do not succeed at school. When they get out of school, they don't work or support themselves. When there are no consequences, no boundaries, no sense of responsibilty when they are younger, other people, including taxpayers, are suppose to give them a "pass" on responsibility later in life.

Now this kind of thinking started long before they reached middle school. Parents needed to get their heads out of the sand way back when.

The kids are using their I-phones, I-Pods and all of their multi-media knowledge to pull this stunt. Scary knowing that this IS the next generation that will run our country.

We had bomb threats while most of us was in school. It is kids trying to get out of school. Like then they look, they call in the police, and attempt to make sure everybody is safe. Media makes it into the next Colenbine every time some little turd thinks he is doing something new. When found they need to be punished. It wasn't funny then and isn't funny now, but over reacting to it is insane.

I'm raising a teenager now and with all the new technology they have it can sometimes be hard to know everything they are doing. I creep fb,instagram and do drive bys of places he says he's going and even doing all that I'm not naive enough to ever say "not my kid". But I do believe if all parents would make an effort it would help.I find out alot by inviting his friends over and feeding them. Food to teenagers is like alcohol to adults.lol

What is this world coming to? Bring back paddling in school and stop the suspensions/expulsions. A couple of smacks in the bottom would sure make a difference.

The little darlings as solong calls them, should be jailed and put away for a good long sentence in a real prison for any bomb or death threats they call-in or post on social media. No juvenile hall for these wanna be terrorists.
