“Over the past three years the manufacturing sector has added nearly 50,000 jobs, and I am certain that number will continue to grow with the President’s plan....

I noticed CNN,ABC,CBS and NBC did not talk about the speech the day after. Even they could see the idiot was way off main stream and they wanted the speech to fall off the news cycle as quickly as possible. Only the hard left wing kooks on MSNBC kept on talking about the nut jobs agenda the next day.

Why would any work at Delphi in Warren, OH for 10.00hr when min. wage is 9.00hr. That is why the production workers are miserable and hate Delphi.

One of the best presidents we have had in a LONG time. Ended the war in Iraq (even though Bush claimed mission accomplished while Bin Laden was still free). Economic conditions are improving (slowly but they are). Ending the war in Afganastan in 2014. Increase taxes on the wealthiest americans to help pay their fair share. I can go on and on but I'll run out of ink! He's doing an excellent job! And what I posted about the war situation are FACTS, not opinions.

Let's not forget that $386 million in stimulus money was blown in this congressional district to create only 286 jobs. Do the math. $1.2 million PER JOB. They could have just given EVERY PERSON IN THE DISTRICT $400,000. That would mean that a family of 4 could have gotten $2million. That would have been better use of the money than flushing it down the toilet. This is Dumbassocrat insanity.

This delusional idiot we have as president can't point to any meaningful statistic that proves any of his policies are working. He's incurred more debt in 4 years that ALL THE PREVIOUS 43 PRESIDENTS COMBINED!!!! He's worthless.

Local reaction to State of the Union? All they did for this article was post reactions of politicians. Why not actually go out and speak to some average citizens, Tribune? I don't think it would have been that hard, and more interesting than just doing a poll.

I prefer non-fiction TV. I was watching the travel channel at 9 o'clock last night.

This ungodly, puppet-man called the prez must create some kind of jobs (probably minimum wage) so his empire can continue to get revenue from taxes for their pay raises and million dollar pork progams and oh ya Obama phones (Where's mine?)This government is totally out of control; they are like a bunch of really bad little boys with way too much power. Scratching each others backs while America suffers and you know they are laughing all the way to the bank. Our leaders a shameful; they deserve no respect and especially no pay raise. Our president is a skilled liar a sickening piece of work. I can't believe any one would vote this incompetent, unskilled, egotist into office twice. The joke is on the American people that are horribly brainwashed.
