The 2013/2014 school budget is a blatant attempt by Kasich to buy votes for his next election.

The man has NO SHAME, but then he's nothing but a WALL STREET CROOK, who tried to steal our Public Employees retirement fund and Teacher's Retirement fund 3 WEEKS before LEHMAN Brothers collapsed. YES - they were talking with Ohio fund managers about moving these to Lehman Brothers 3 weeks before Lehman Brothers collapsed on Sept 15, 2008.

You think he cares about Ohio - you're fooling yourself. He cares about himself and his rich friends.

Wake up and smell the sewage.

Dear WarrenProud - Please review Ohio laws - a portion of state income tax is to be returned to local communities for support of local services and our schools. I specifically reference ORC 5747.02 Tax rates.

Of course, our Wall Street SCHILL of a Governor is cutting the income tax, just like he's decimated our school budgets and local government budgets by reducing funding to these entities. That's why you're seeing all these levies.

You might try paying attention to what the fool people like you voted into office is doing with our money. It's a shell game. Remember that at the next election.

The administration of the Champion School system has, for fifteen plus years, been both frugal and organized to maximize the student population's experience.

I do not believe the administration is doing all they can do to protect the taxpayers. Pam Hoods cushy salary is one thing that needs attention. I think volunteers can run the libraries. NO need to pay a teacher or anyone else. How efficient are the bus routes? Why can't we eliminate busses by going to staggered start times. Maybe we could eliminate busses and drivers. We need to talk about how to run an efficient business not a bussiness run by th Union and teachers who are not willing to work staggered shifts. It is about the taxpayer. Nothing happens without the taxpayer. When we say NO at the voting booth, it is NO. We are tapped out.

Superintendent Pamela Hood said she would ask the school board to request a Performance Audit from the State Auditor. We'll see if she can get that done before the levy or if it gets swept under the rug.

Until school employees pay their fair share for healthcare and pensions plus eliminate those nasty step increases, I oppose any and all school levies. Why should only property taxpayers support the schools?
