Story on Tim Ryan didn’t have balance

I would love to see your list of what Tim Ryan has done for the valley. Personally, I can not think of one thing that he spearheaded to help the valley. He's a follower, not a leader.

Yoder is a right wing goof that is why she was picked as a community writer. Tim secured over $126 million in funding for high priority projects. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, he helped improved the Youngstown Warren Air Reserve Station and the Ravenna Joint Military Training Center. Building on the success of the Youngstown Business Incubator,he worked to bring public-private enterprises like the new $85 million National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Center that will help pave the way for future jobs and economic growth. Working with local and state partners he have helped to bring new jobs to our region such as the $650 million V&M Star facility.

The V&M Star deal is such a great example of Timmy's grandstanding. He did NOTHING to facilitate, help, or be involved with that expansion except seize the opportunity to put his face on it. Look! It worked. Everyone thinks he had a hand in it. Air Base? Ravenna? How much local revenue is that helping? How about leveraging a HUGE skilled workforce into different areas that him and his union cronies killed? Tech? Research? Process manufacturing? All things that our local workforce could have easily transferred to and added value to immediately! Nah...let's jump into the incubator..it's a really cool word! DUHHHH...

Billdog, I can't agree with the only hate comment. With Tim, there is no merit, accomplishment, or any other form of pride for his community. He has always been transparent about his ambitions to just maintain elected office, climb the ladder, and reap his OWN benefits. I can't understand how people think he is concerned with his constituency. We are all Americans. Polarized? Yes. Hate filled because we have opinions? Nah, that drum is getting a little worn out. Difference of opinion does not equal hate. Sorry.

I just got done reading this piece and have to agree with Nick. Very one sided.
