Agree Mimi. Tipton was given a few opportunities, but can't stay away from trouble. He VIOLATED his probation. That's what probation is for! I applaud his PO. 4 years is a start. Surely, Rice is not a mental genious, however, he did not deserve to be hit then left for dead because the other idiot was going to get in trouble AGAIN. Screw Tipton. You live by the sword.... Whatever.

Read for comprehension. The 4 years is for the probation violation. The Hit Skip hasn't even been presented to the Grand Jury yet. Only after that will he stand trial for the accident.

LOL @ this sentence. A drunk on a bike pedals in front of a moving car and gets the daylights knocked out of him and he's a victim? NOT.

Tipton should be cited for fleeing the scene of an accident and that's all. Four years for something like this is travesty. The drunk idiot on the bike should be sent to jail right along with Tipton for public intoxication and causing an accident. I have zero sympathy for Mr. Rice. He caused the whole situation and deserves some jail time too.
