Wow. Talk about burying the lead... With all the drama around this gift, you give an onion to the members who bought the thing? And for not getting the clerk something from Warren or our downtown?
Come on... Maybe those members were just supporting some of your advertisers!
And I'm saying this as someone who runs a business downtown... What the devil did you want them to get the clerk? Something form Howards? A gift cert from the comic store? Or put that hundred against the cost of a fine watch at Thom Duma's?
Not to mention, it is funny that THIS paper is throwing stones about folks not supporting the city... Or is that ironic?
