It's sad to say but why would this pedophile stop when all he has confess & repent...supposedly he's forgiven after confession but yet continue to rape little boys because he'll be forgiven in the catholic church's eye. Confess and all is forgiven..even 25 years worth of rape . Skeet-Skeet LOL

Anniemae, the young men never said anything because of shame, fear of the ol mighty Catholic Church or who knows whatever reason. I find it absolutely ridiculous that everyone of the accusers are out for a quick buck. Far as I'm concerned 1 incident calls for a hanging, and your right Brownie,****to h e l l those who looked the other way, I'm telling you Catholic Church is ultimately responsible.

boys that age are pretty macho. we all want to show our friends we are just as tough as they are....we dont want to look like chumps.

I would have had no idea what i would have done or who i would have told if that had happened to me. it would have been to confusing for me....and to embarrassing if my friends found out. i would have buried it in the deepest part of my stomach.

Can someone please explain why boys 14-17 would never say anything at the time? 25 years is a long time to keep that a secret. Perhaps if they would have come forth back then, other boys' lives could have been saved. It just baffles me how this was swept under the rug for so long. Terrible.

its amazing that these victims....and they are victims....are being made out to be the criminals. we've actually slipped this far haven't we?

i was never sexually abused or moletsed or touch in ways that could be deemed so, but i cant imagine the scar that leaves on a kid and how it must weigh and tug at the soul throughout adulthood.

i'll tell you one thing, if i was that brother guy, and i wasnt guilty, i would say so and tell the church to absolutely not make a huge payment to make it go away or even make it look like i was!!!

the guy is guilty!

now, you people want the victims of the sick perv to prove to you, also, that they were molested and donate the settlement they got to a charity. you must be crazy?

society is sick as a whole. it saddens me.

Great Idea if its not all about the money then why not donate the money to charity for truly needed people or is it really all about the money

No surprise, this sick Perv been obviously doing this most of his adult life. It's the exact reason he chose to enter clergy, for the maximum opportunity to satisfy his twisted urges. Look for a suicide with this scum in future, which is fine with me.

I'm NOT certain the word "mounting" is appropriate in this situation - (LOL) However, the lure of easy money is hard to pass up. I'm sure this feeding frenzy will continue, & there WILL be countless "victims". It's amazing the things these "now adults" recall when there mind is "stimulated" with some money.
