Well, the new jobs are lower paying jobs that replaced higher paying jobs. That's okay, just get three of them so you can have what you used to have just six short years ago. We are on a roll and looking for more wonderful news!

If their was a Republican in the white house all we would be hearing from Fox, Rush and the Teabaggers on here is that the economy is on fire!

I don't follw numbers either. This could be the result in a decline or expiration of unemployment. Sadly, most jobs available now are service related ones. If you do not have a degree or are in management of some sort in these service jobs, you are at the bottom of the food chain.

This manipulated number means little.
How about reporting the Labor Participation Rate which reports the % and the number of American adults actually working?
The % of Americans actually working to support our nation has declined in each of the last four years.
Fewer workers.
More non- workers.
Nothing to celebrate here.

familyguy...you are seeing it. fewer people to count, lower unemployment number. :)
simple stuff. now people must begin to look at the birth/death model, which basically just assumes jobs into existance with 0 proof.
i mean its ridiculous. yet, people see these numbers and come on here and say "YIPEEEEE! Obama is fixing it! He's really really fixing it!"
LOL

Brasco, the participation rate is the lowest in history. Do you know what that means? Of course you don’t. Also, I would call this the Obama mess now, ok. Democrats have had power for 6 straight years, ok. Brasco, the number of people on assistance just went up again. How much, truly, do you not know?

Look on the bright side. If you are a smoker or engage in other risky behavior you will be priced out of health insurance under ObamaCare. You could call that the new existing condition. HeeHee, stupid sheep. Always following government shepards straight the the sledgehammer that smashes their heads.

Some liberal wacko politician in New York wants Obama to be president for life.
Liberal wacko politicians in Oregon want to make tabacco products available only through perscriptions.
Those liberals are all for rights aren't they?
Sorry I am off topic but everyone knows the economy ***** and has been rounding the corner for the last 4 years.

marmel...if that bill in oregon passes and someone sneaks a cigarette without a drs perscrition because the bill will make tobacco a controlled substance, they will face 1 year in jail and a 6,250 dollar fine or both. LOL!

Too bad this figure has absolutely nothing to do with the actual number of unemployed Americans.
