In today's world more precautions are taken against the extremes. Dangerous windchill can cause frostbite and even hypothermia. Unlike the days when we grew up, more caution is taken as health is top priority. We allowed smoking inside establishments for years until we understood that second hand cigarette smoke is deadly. So, softy or not. You still escape the chance of getting a severe condition from being out in sub zero temperatures .........

I totally agree Daniel. When I was in school, we went anyway regardless of the temp. My brother and I remembered walking to the bus stop backwards because the wind chill was below ten degrees. Now they close for EVERYTHING. They are raising softies.
