Did you vag flare?

"Of course the United States does have some laws that are directly dirived from the Moral Theory of Natural Law."

You don't know WTF you're talking about. "ingredeant"

And you're as illiterate as always, dosuckeyes.

"Should thebear402 be free to purchase a couple tanks with all weapons attached to protect his interests from the lawless."

Why don't you stop wasting everyone's time with your stupid and go learn something? Start with the Federalist Papers and learn what they meant, moron. The founding fathers intended the 2nd to apply to weapons for self defense that were COMMONLY CARRIED BY THE INFANTRY.

Got it, simp? You don't carry a tank in to battle.... but what would you about serving or anything military related, you tard.

the bill of rights recongnizes that those rights are natural rights. you are born with them...given to you by a universal creator, which govt cannot interfere with.

dont think for one second however, that govt cont take those rights away. if you do not protect them and guard them, you are going to lose them. all of history is an example of that.

you can pray every single day, but if you dont live your day acting upon those spritual beliefs, your prayers don't mean to much. in the end, they are just words.

A government cannot grant me free speech, for speech is a defining trait that makes us Human. Throughout history Humans have been free to speek except when obstructed by a government. Government did not give me that right and theoreticly can not take it away.

I am surprised that you would post the bill of rights quote by Jefferson. That Quote implies that rights are derived from the government. I thought you were a Natural Law kind of guy. Turns out you are just another Conservative Republican.

also, why is it do you think our govt trusts iraqi citizens to own FULLY automatic modern weapons, yet they dont trust Americans to own ever a semi-automatic weapon soon?

why? our govt allows every single iraqi houselhold to own a fully aoutomatic ak-47 in iraq ever since we've been there.

that's great you have those little pee shooters. i prefer a bigger gun for protection and for alittle fun when i go to my cabin. i understand what your opinion is.

however, what gives you or the govt the right to tell me what gun i cant or cant own? who gives you the power to do that? where do you people get your authority from?

Not getting into an argument over semantics with you guys. We have the right to bear arms. To you, "arms" means "firearms." To others, they will claim that the term "arms" encompasses a whole lot more than firearms. They say that nowhere in the Constitution does it read "the right to bear only those arms you can carry by hand, not bolted to the back of a vehicle or sticking out the front of a tank," and it is with those fanatics that I have a beef.

Similarly, I have two firearms at home, used for target practice when I was younger and now kept for protection. I don't want anyone trying to take them from me, but one is a .22 rifle and the other is a .38 pistol. Neither is an AK-47 or a bazooka, nor would I ever need or want them, and neither, in my opinion, should a non-military, non-police civilian be allowed to own one.

Ok I can respect your honesty there. What if other citizens don't see it your way. By your interpetation would you not be denying them of their Rights? I have to tell you that I have read many posts from people in newspapers all over the country that just don't see it your way.

Thebear, I 100% agree with anarchosreply to you and wanted to add, the constitution says "right to bear arms". To me, thats guns, not tanks or missiles or fighter jets or nukes, just guns.

My question is, wjere do you and the politicians get your power over me and my decision to own what gun I want to own? Where does that power and authority come from? I have mever broken a law in my life.

Or maybee a cobra assult helicopter would be more efficient. Thebear402 is skilled in opperating this chopper since he was a helicopter piolot in both Iraq wars with the U.S.Army. What is his rights if thebear402 makes this his choice?

Actually with all those acres to cover from drug infested aliens cutting his fences and killing his cattle a lightweight tank might be just the ticket. Thebear402 woukd be protected from sniper fire and cover a heck of a lot of ground in a hurry. Mr bear points out that his friend and fellow rancher was killed just 2 months ago when he rode onto a major drug buy on his land. What say you anchrocapitalist, Should thebear402 be free to purchase a couple tanks with all weapons attached to protect his interests from the lawless.

Your responst to thebear402 brings up an interesting question, aracnocapitalist, what if thebear402's choice to protect his family and property was a electronicly operated Gatteling gun, and to protect his 10,000 acre cattle ranch in Texas on the Mexican border he chose Claymore mines. What would tou say to thebear402? Should he as you've said be able to choose his protection? We both know that with 330 million people in this country someone would try to do such a thing if for no other reason than to enlarge the envelope of peoples rights. Does thebear402 have thr right to arm himself as desired?

You would punish good people in the mistaken attempt to address violence by the bad. If you choose to arm yourself with bb gun or a phone call to 911 if someone is trying to harm you, that's your personal choice. It's not mine, and I'm not alone. You do not have the right to make my choice for me. You can only choose for yourself.

That makes no sense bear, your argument is irrational. No one is saying we should all be driving around in tanks or launching missiles and conducting nuclear fireworks. Your logic is flawed and convoluted.

An irrational person says - some whacko used a high capacity magazine and did disgusting and horrible damage with it, we need to ban high capacity magazines.

A rational person says - the high capacity magazine is not the source of the violence, the deranged person is. We need to understand how and why that person was so damaged to commit such atrocity.

look at the info on this site

Antidepressant Induced Suicide and Violence

www .ssristories. com/index.php

Banning guns or accessories will not stop the the violence, but will make more folks exposed to criminals or deranged people that will still find a way to use them against us.

This reminds me of the part of the book "Cheaper by the Dozen" where the children want a dog. The father says, "A dog?! No way! Next they'll want a pony, next a car, next a month-long cruise! And I for one cannot afford and refuse to give my children a month-long cruise!" (paraphrased)

A rational person says, no I do not need an assault rifle any more than I need a Sherman tank or an anti-aircraft missile. An irrational person say, no, you can't make a law prohibiting me from owning a Sherman tank, anti-aircraft missile, or assault rifle, because next, you'll be making a law taking away my right to own a pistol to protect myself from intruders.

Such is the convoluted logic and paranoia we see in the "no laws whatsoever prohibiting my right to own any weapon in the world, even if it's a nuclear bomb" crowd.

anarcho, Bills article makes alot more sense and is a thought out article.

abit earlier i gave a few stats on the gun show article on front page sorta like that and asked why on earth would we pick guns to try and ban when there are other items that kill many times more people. one response i got was telling me i was "deflecting" from the issue. LOL!

if someone even brings up something other than guns that causes more death per year than guns, democrats think i am doing it to change to subject. LOL!

amazing times here my friend....amazing times! i have to be careful to not let my emotions get the best of me....even that is a rush for me. :)
