WP and Afret are both correct.
America simply can't afford pork barrel projects as usual.
And the Sandy victims shouldn't have to wait until the bill is cleaned up.
Senators and congressmen need to knock it off right now and only spend the nation's money in a responsible, above board manner.

Superstorm Sandy deserves it's own stand alone clean bill without all the pork being inserted in it for others by congressman. You don't have to wonder why congress is so disliked.

This is what happens when every representative seizes the opportunity to add "pork" to a bill. Instead of passing a clean bill to allot the victims needed resources, everyone jumps on the bandwagon and adds monies for their districts, then the bill becomes fodder for debate from those who would otherwise vote for it. I heard that cockroaches have a better opinion rating than Congress. Wonder why?
