And some of us who knew him before he was judge shuddered at the thought of his sitting on the bench. The only part of him I really respect is that the killer of his cousin was brought to justice.

I had the privilege of working with Judge Stuard many years ago, long before he sat on the bench. He is a very trustworthy and compassionate man. Trumbull County is losing a great man who has dedicated his life to protecting and serving the people of this county. May I say good luck and best wishes on your retirement.

KSmith, while you are entitled to your opinion and the opportunity to express it, I don't believe there are many who would agree. I have known Judge Stuard for over 50 years and yours is the first negative comment I have ever heard. As for the woman who murdered his cousin, I understand she is up for parole soon and THAT is a shame. She was convicted of killing her husband and her child. She should NEVER be released.
