HOWLAND — While the township’s summer parks entertainment is back again, visitors can expect a fresh series with a few new changes this year. The four-show series kicked off Aug. 5 with the Sugarfuzz Band at Howland Township Park. Last year was the first that the group’s played a movie in the park said Mills, with “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.” This year, they’ll show “The Wizard of Oz” at Rosegarden Park. The movie will be projected on a big screen on the back of the fence at the baseball fields. “The generation of kids now see it on TV but have not had the opportunity to see it on a big screen,” said Mills. “And you want to get something everyone can enjoy.” Last on tap Aug.
