Foos add a little fighter

His publicist, Laura Eldeiry of Nasty Little Man, sent out a release this morning that Grohl’s wife Jordyn gave birth to their second daughter on April 17.

The girl is named Harper Willow Grohl after Dave’s great uncle Harper Bonebrake. Their first child, Violet, was born on April 15, 2006.

According to the proud papa, Harper is “7 lbs 8 oz, 20 inches long and loud as hell.”

Grohl will be honored in his hometown later this year when a downtown alley is dedicated in his name as part of a week-long music and arts festival tentatively planned from July 26 to Aug. 1 at Courthouse Square.
