Is Stephen Tobolowsky’s love child on `American Idol’?

I haven’t watched “American Idol” this season as regularly as I did the last couple years (judging by the ratings, I’m not alone), but one thing has struck me since I saw one contestant during the early auditions.

Does anyone else think Scott MacIntyre could be the illegitimate love child of character actor Stephen Tobolowsky? There are times I think MacIntyre is a dead ringer for the actor, assuming he had hair, and occasionally he even sounds like him.

Folks might not know Tobolowsky’s name, but they should recognize his face (I’ve included photos of both). He’s got nearly 200 credits listed on the Internet Movie Database, and he’s appeared in such films as “Groundhog Day,” “Memento,” “Thelma & Louise,” “Single White Female,” “Basic Instinct” and “Freaky Friday.”
