From The Editor's Office
POSTED:Tue, April 29, 2008 @ 2:50PM
Honestly, the AG's office needs a policy on that?Apparently, the the Ohio Attorney General's Office needs someone o tell everyone who works there how to be a grownup. Is it true it has come to this? It was announced Monday that top officials in the office are discussing a new policy that will cover e-mail messages and possibly the general "decorum' (you have to love that word) of the office. You've got to be kidding me. Someone has to tell an office full of trained professionals, many of them attorneys and support staff, how to conduct business in the Attorney Genral's office and not drop the F-bomb at will? That's the easy way out when it comes to the government. Just make up another policy, and try to enforce it. By the way, it's only "in the talking stages" and "on the horizon." That's laughable. Most people know the bar room talk and attitude should stay at the bar. At work, there is an expected sense of professionalism. It shouldn't take a "policy" for that.
