VH1 will 'Buzz' about Red Wanting Blue

Red Wanting Blue will add another national television appearance to its resume this week.

The Columbus-based band, which has played many shows in the Mahoning Valley over the years, will perform Tuesday (Oct. 16) on VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz Live.”

The band is scheduled to play “Audition,” the same song it performed in July on “Late Show with David Letterman.” The track is included on the band’s latest album, “From the Vanishing Point,” but it’s one of the band’s older songs that was re-recorded for that disc.

“Big Morning Buzz Live” airs at 10 a.m.

Red Wanting Blue doesn’t have any Youngstown dates on its current tour schedule, but the band will be at House of Blues in Cleveland on Nov. 9.
