| | Springsteen announces Cleveland showJanuary 24, 2012 - Andy GrayRumors of some U.S. dates before Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band head to Europe in May have been swirling for weeks.
They were confirmed this morning with the announcement of a 19-show tour that includes an April 17 concert at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
The tour starts March 18, about two weeks after the release of Springsteen’s next album, “Wrecking Ball.” The first single, “We Take Care of Our Own,” was released last week. The album features 11 new Springsteen songs and was produced by Ron Aniello with Bruce Springsteen and executive producer Jon Landau. A special edition of “Wrecking Ball” also will be available and include two bonus tracks and exclusive artwork and photography.
There still has been no announcement on who will take Clarence Clemons' place in the E Street Band or if they will decide to tour without a saxophone player.
Tickets for the Cleveland show are $98, $62.50 and $42.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 28 through Live Nation and the Q’s ticket outlets. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | Blog Links |
