Champion native appears on `Last Call with Carson Daly'

Sleeper Agent, featuring Champion native Alex Kandel on lead vocals, will make its national television debut tonight/tomorrow morning on NBC’s “Last Call with Carson Daly.”

The band will be featured in an interview segment with Daly, according to its publicist BB Gun Press. The show airs at 1:35 a.m. on WFMJ-TV.

The 18-year-old Kandel moved from Champion to Bowling Green, Ky., when she was a freshman in high school and joined Sleeper Agent in 2009.

Sleeper Agent also will perform in Pittsburgh on Nov. 30 as part of the X’s Holiday Office Party at Stage AE. Also on the bill will be Cage the Elephant, Switchfoot and The Joy Formidable.
