Mannheim replaces TSO at Covelli Centre

Despite the news that Trans-Siberian Orchestra is skipping Youngstown for the first time in a decade, the Covelli Centre won’t be left without a Christmas concert.

According to Mannheim Steamroller’s website, its Christmas tour will play the Youngstown arena on Dec. 9 for one show at 8 p.m.

Created by Chip Davis, Mannheim Steamroller is celebrating its 27th anniversary with the 2011 tour. And like TSO, it has two different ensembles on the road during the holiday season.

No details are available yet on when tickets will go on sale.
